één van de sterkste tornooien van het jaar wordt georganiseerd door Ekaterinburg, het 2007 Fiba wereldbeker tornooi.

Het tornooi heeft een selectie uit de USA en 7 professionele teams uit de rest van de wereld. Ploegen uit Australië, China, Cuba, Hongarije, Litouwen en Rusland.
